THE RENOIR MUSEUM
In the footsteps of the Master Impressionist painter
The museum and domain is on the chemin des Collettes. Discover the Domaine des Collettes, a haven of peace and greenness with
century old olives trees, that so enraptured Renoir that he made it his home, this eternal nomad and restless soul.
Listen to the story of the life he led here in Cagnes-sur-Mer, interspersed with many moving and funny anecdotes. Find the very unique atmosphere of this
domain that has been preserved intact thanks to the very specific directions by his sons and close friends.
You can admire his workshop, where 12 original paintings and more than 30 sculptures of the Master, showing the evolution of his technique and the
different periods of influence, are on exhibition.
Aided by our guide, discover the man he was to better understand his painting and his time.
Opening times of the Museum: 10am to 12md and 2pm to 5pm (from 2nd of May to 31th October: closes at 6pm), closed on Tuesdays, and for holidays from
1st November to 30th November included.
Admission fee : adults around 5 euros, students 18/26 years around 3 euros, free for under 18’s.
Guided visits: meeting point in front of the Musée Renoir, no reservation is necessary.

Sunday: from 2.00 to 5pm or 6pm (summer).

Then, after visiting the Renoir Museum, it is time to discover the Medieval town of Haut de Cagnes, visiting the village and the Château-Museum.
A free bus shuttle is available, every 20 minutes, to bring you to the town, taking a detour through the modern busy centre of Cagnes-sur-Mer. The
shuttle stops right at the entrance to the place du Château, in the heart of the Medieval town.
